Rihanna got 15 tattoos at her body on different places. Unlike some celebrities she doesn’t have huge tattoo that covers a large amount of skin, instead most of her tattoos are pretty small.
1. Maybe the most noticeable is Rihanna’s stars tattoo. She has 20 something small stars starting from the top of her neck and going down to her back.
2. Roman numbers tattoo. Rihanna tattooed a birthday date (4.11.1986.) of her best friend and manager Melissa on her left shoulder. Melissa also has a tattoo with Rihanna’s birthday.
3. Next tattoo is located at the upper part of hear ear, and it is a small outlined star.
4. Behind hear ear she has a Pisces sign tattoo. She is born on February 20, 1988., which makes pisces her astrological sign.
5. On the side of her left middle finger she has a tattoo of the word “Love”.
6. “Shhh…” tattoo on the side of her right index finger. One of Rihanna’s more original tattoos.
7. Rihanna’s tribal tattoo is located on her right hand. It stands for “love and strength”.
8. She has a gun tattoo that in her words represents strength and protection.
9. “Never a failure, always a lesson” tattoo is located on Rihanna’s right shoulder, and it’s written backwards.
10. Rebelle Fleur which is french for rebel flower is tattooed on the side of her neck.
11. Arabic tattoo on her ribcage which translates to “Freedom in God”
12. Sanskrit prayer tattoo going down her right hip which should be saying “forgiveness, honesty, suppression and control”.
13. Rihanna’s music notes tattoo is the first one she got back in 2006.

15. Rihanna’s Thug Life tattoo is her latest tattoo in white ink, and it represents homage to the late rapper Tupac Shakur.
